**QHSE Advisor - Fibre**
Here at Solutions30 we provide new technology solutions across the telecoms and energy sectors within the UK, and across Europe. Due to continued growth within our Fibre Department, we are now seeking a QSHE Advisor to join our team. The QHSE Advisor will primarily support the maintenance of ISO/OHSAS standards within the Business alongside supporting the QHSE Manager by ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained by proactively performing quality and safety audits and implementing improvement actions as appropriate.
**The QHSE Advisor will also be responsible for**:
- Aiding delivery teams to ensure Fibre RAMS completion is compliant to support project delivery
- Assisting in the maintenance of quality, environmental, safety and security standards within deployed resource to manage compliance with client and regulatory requirements
- Completion of internal and external audits in line with Solutions30 and client requirements alongside managing any issues to ensure client requirements are met
- Investigating non-compliance through inspection and audit, project work, and accident and near-miss investigation
- Maintaining & fostering relationships between key clients and the wider business to drive and create a climate of safe, compliant delivery
- Identifying solutions to offer clients to extend our existing services or improve the quality of current services and recommending these to appropriate Heads of Services
- Assisting in the calibration and/or certification of assets and safety equipment alongside the maintenance of the ISO/OHSAS systems to ensure continued accreditation
- Completing H&S audits of field-based engineers, including PPE & LOLER equipment formal inspections and submitting accurate audit results/inspection information
- Aiding the QHSE manager in the production of reports and statistics for presentation to the board
- Mentoring Fibre Field Engineers and Supervisors in best Health and Safety practice
- At least 2 years Telecoms Health and Safety experience, specifically on Fibre related projects.
- Solid understanding of Civils works and the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental concerns surrounding civils works
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and problem solve in stressful situations
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively
- Takes a logical and orderly approach to analysing problems, organizing work and planning actions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
