**Accounts Assistant - Hybrid - West End, London**

My client based in the West End are now looking for a Finance Assistant to join their Finance team.

This is an exciting new role as the company are going through some growth plans. The role will mainly be focused on Accounts Payable functions but will have exposure to Accounts Receivable and the wider Finance function.

**The role of Accounts Assistant**:

- Perform bank reconciliations for our clients company expenses and clients paying invoices.
- Allocating payments and receipts to purchase and sales invoices.
- Monitor the automated invoice processing tool and ensure invoices are posted accurately
- Help prepare payment runs for suppliers and maintaining Accounts Payable ledger
- Own the staff expenses process, approving spend requests, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with the staff expenses policy
- Responsible for monitoring the Zendesk finance inbox, and allocating tasks to different team members
- With time this role will also get exposure to calculating invoices for clients, affiliate commission and sales commission.

**The ideal Accounts Assistant**:

- Experience working in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable function with a solid understanding of debits, credits and double entry accounting
- Works well within a team, but has the initiative to complete work by themselves
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative approach to working with others and committed to an inclusive environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
