Groundworker/finisher

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Groundworker to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, backfilling, and grading
- Assist in the installation and repair of underground utilities
- Operate machinery including compactors, jackhammers, and small excavators
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Assist with landscaping duties as needed

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in construction or landscaping preferred this is essential.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labour tasks
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Willingness to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in the following areas is a must, slabbing, block paving along with prep, footings, drainage, basic ground prep.

The role is not site bashing but high end domestic properties.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day

**Experience**:

- Construction: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
