Focus 5 Recruitment are excited to be working with an a newly formed healthcare technology building on our collective experience of product development and population health management. Patient engagement is one of the most essential areas to respond toin terms of addressing patient concerns, building relationships, and developing impactful population health strategies.

They are looking to expand their current Data Management team, looking for an experienced and highly motivated Director of Data Management.?

The Director, Data Management is part of the Global Biometrics Department within Clinical Development and supports the Senior Director, Data Management and Executive Director, Biometrics in managing the Data Management department and will work accordingto company policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Line management of assigned staff in Data Management
- Ensure quality and timeliness of data management deliverables
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
- Embedding a data centric culture where data is valued as an asset and resource is committed to maintaining and improving it
- Coach, support and mentor Data Engineers
- Evaluate training needs for departmental staff and ensure they are met
- Identify resource requirements
- Manage project budgets
- Resource allocation, bring in more engineers
- Budget cost and income, planning, monthly follow-up, annual follow-up
- Monthly invoicing, approval of time reports and travel expenses
- Preparation of proposals, follow-up, negotiation and review of contracts

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in life science or nursing, Statistics or Computer Science or equivalent education or lower education e.g. Associate Degree
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience, including eight years of relevant data management experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Work experience in clinical research, drug development, data management, or other healthcare environment preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in project management and staff supervision
