**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the procurement department and project teams to understand client requirements and project scope for minor works projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to accurately assess project needs.
- Prepare detailed estimates, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations to identify cost-effective solutions and alternatives.
- Utilise estimating software and tools effectively to streamline the estimation process and maintain consistency in pricing.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and clarify project details.
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, including compiling supporting documentation and completing bid forms.
- Participate in tender review meetings to present estimates and provide insights on pricing strategies and risk assessment.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to inform estimating decisions and maintain competitiveness.
- Support other estimating-related activities and ad-hoc tasks as required by the senior management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a focus on estimating minor works projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical documents and drawings.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating, with a focus on delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
