School Counsellor

**Salary**: NJC Grade E - £26,357 - £29,439 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

**Working Pattern**: This is a part-time, permanent position working 13 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

The College is looking to recruit a part-time School Counsellor (13 hours per week, 38 weeks per year - term time only) in this permanent position, reporting directly to the Assistant Headteacher (Safeguarding Lead). The Specific days and timings for this role will be discussed and agreed at interview.

Duties will include contributing to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people. You will also provide support for staff in identifying any emotional impact of their work. Regular professional supervision will be provided.
