Dog Trainer/behaviourist

Responsibilities:
- Must be capable of training common behavioural issues with pet dogs
- eg pulling on lead, barking at door, reactivity towards other dogs/people.
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to each dog's needs
- Teach basic obedience commands, as well as more advanced skills and tricks
- Conduct group training classes and private training sessions
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on proper handling and training techniques
- Monitor and assess the progress of dogs in training
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and client information
- Clients may be based around Nottingham City and surrounding areas
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of dog behavior and training methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to work with dogs of all temperaments and breeds
- Ability to adapt training techniques to suit individual dogs' needs
Passionate about providing exceptional training and exceptional customer service.
Must be able to provide references from owners you have helped previously.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 5 per week
**Salary**: From £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
