**Duties include: -**
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and adhering to cleaning rotas.
- Ensure the kitchen area is a safe environment for all employees.
- Ensure that all food preparation areas and kitchen equipment is cleaned to the highest standard using the correct products in line with the cleaning policy.
- Ensure the kitchen is always kept clean and tidy, following all food and safety procedures.
- Ensure deliveries are put away and checked in/stored following the Food Safety Management systems
- Keep the pot wash area tidy and ensure that all crockery is clean and restocked.
- Assist chef(s) in basic food preparation when needed.
- Ensure stock control policies and guidelines are adhered to.
- Assist as required with stock movement and stock takes.
