Overview Of RoleSustainable Soils and Crop Science strategic area are recruiting a part-time (0.5 FTE) Executive Assistant. In this role, reporting directly to the Science Director for the Science Area of Sustainable Soils & Crops (SSC). The Executive Assistant will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support world leading science, by providing executive/ administration management, including diary management for Director of SSC, operation management for strategic area and co-ordination of science related activities, for institute strategic programmes.
- The post holder will often be the first point of contact for (sometimes complex) administrative queries arising from staff, students, and visiting workers and be required to interact with external stakeholders based in the UK and internationally, e.g. scientists, funders, and contractors.
- The post attracts a salary of £29,842-31,350 (FTE for 37 hours per week) pro rated to 18.5 hours per week. Hours and days of work to be agreed with Science Director.
- The vacancy will close on 9 May 2023, with interviews expected to take place week commencing 22nd May 2023.
