**The Role**

The role of Land Buyer is key to our business. In this role you will assist in the delivery of land acquisition to meet the region’s business plan and future growth requirements

**Key duties and requirements**

Your responsibilities will also include;
- Supporting the land team to facilitate the sourcing and securing of land and depending on experience, source land deals within the Scottish business’ operating area.
- Supporting the preparation and presentation of information packs to support land offers.
- Assisting in the preparation of AFFA submissions.
- Assisting in achieving planning approvals.
- Ensuring the effective and relevant legal documentation is prepared for each development or phase of development.
- Actively managing communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Our successful Land Buyer will possess an ambitious and driven attitude with a desire to learn and become a part of a rapidly growing business along with the ability to work within a professional environment.

We are also open to speaking with graduates with a relevant accredited degree such as Planning, Property/Real Estate looking to start their career in Land.

In addition, you will possess:

- Basic knowledge of the key stages of land acquisition and procurement.
- A developing understanding of the legal, planning, technical and commercial matters / considerations associated with land acquisition
- Numerical and Literate
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively
- Able to work within tight deadlines
- IT Literate especially Excel and Word
- General administration and project management skills
