Canteen Assistant

**About The Role**:
**The Role**:
We a new vacancy within our Canteen based at Moreton on Lugg, Herefordshire. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic and organised individual who ideally has experience of working in a canteen or restaurant environment and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

**The main duties are**:

- Re-stocking of vending machines and beverage stations
- Monitoring Stock levels
- Maintaining stock rotation to ensure mínimal wastage
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic food environment in particular ensuring that current
- Dealing with customers in an efficient manner in line with set departmental break times.

**Hours of Work**:
You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week over a 7-day rota, 2pm to 10pm.

**Hourly Rates**:
Weekday rate £9.72, weekend rate £12.15 per hour.

**About You**:

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A friendly and calm disposition
- Self-motivation and the ability to use their own initiative
- You will be required to hold a clean, full UK driving license
- A current food hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential
- Full on the job training will be given.
