Due to our continued growth and success, we are looking for a Product Owner to join us in our central marketing team in Gateshead.

As our Product Owner, you will be responsible for a portfolio of products and their development to offer effortless customer journeys. With a focus to define and deliver digital experiences, journeys and functionality which in turn will impact commercial results and customer engagement.

You will take ownership of the Management of the product backlog for digital products on the website, prioritising business impact and business priorities. Taking briefs, requests and feedback from senior stakeholders and ensuring product development meets the requirements of all departments.

You will Make data-driven decisions: support portfolio choices with evidence from analytics and research.

Key areas of the role will cover:
**Product**
- Develop integrated strategies and product roadmaps which are aligned with marketing initiatives and business objectives.
- Bring together multi-disciplined teams to develop robust solutions and improvements to the full customer lifecycle - acquisition, conversion and retention.
- Develop project briefs and requirements, prioritise and manage project and BAU backlogs
- Develop relationships, collaborate and manage stakeholder expectations within the team and across the wider business. (SEO, PPC, product, development, creative, CRO, marketing directors, dealerships).
- Understanding commercial levers and how they are impacted by product performance and customer engagement.
- Define and communicate product goals, metrics, and success criteria to align the team and track progress.
- Building integrated marketing messaging across the portfolio that can be measured and attributed.

**Customer Journeys**
- Map customer journeys highlighting key touchpoints, pain points, customer needs and opportunities to add value where it matters to our customers across online and offline channels.
- Create and maintain a library of journey flowcharts.
- Use personas to test journeys and build personalisation strategies.

**Insight**
- Report on journey touchpoints - working with data teams to develop dashboards and data visualisation, bringing data from multiple sources together to ensure teams have reliable and accurate reporting for products.
- Interpret customer feedback and using as opportunity for improvement.

What we are looking for:

- Experience within an online marketing or retail environment.
- Technical Account Managers from Digital Marketing agencies are of particular interest.
- A strong understanding and demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Customer Acquisition - Data analysis across a variety of channels including web, paid, social and SEO/SEM - Analytics tools such as Hotjar, SessionCam, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
- Customer Conversion - Experience in working with on and off-line sales team
- An understanding of CTA/retargeting strategies Customer Retention CRM and retention strategies
- Experience of delivering and measuring effective customer engagement
- An ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insight to create solutions and actions
- An ability to understand, map and manage customer journeys
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages visually and creatively
