**Salary**: £35,000 to £40000 (DOE), Car Allowance £4,320 pa, +

Due to internal promotion, we are now recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Fire Risk Assessor to join our proactive and highly successful team of health and safety professionals.

Osterna Limited specialise in Health & Safety compliance in the residential property sector. We are Safe Contractor approved and an NSI approved provider of high quality and fully compliant BAFESP205 Fire Risk Assessments on property throughout the UK.

**What skills and experience will you require?**
- The ideal qualifications for this role is the NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and NEBOSH National General Certificate.
- Accuracy and attention to detail within such reports is essential along with a comprehensive knowledge of the current Health and Safety legislation.
- Experience undertaking fire risk assessment work preferably within the public/private residential property sector.
- LaCORS experience would be great although not essential (training provided)
- A full driving licence is required for this role.

**What does the role involve?**
- Specialising in the residential housing sector our risk assessors carrying inspection to a range of property types including traditional residential blocks, sheltered housing, HMO and high-rise (over 6 m) housing.
- Our risk assessors typically complete up to seven site visits a week and have flexibility which days they work from home during the week to complete report writing.
- Undertake suitable and sufficient Health and Safety and Type’s 1 and Type 3 Fire Risk Assessments (HSFRA), and Compartmentation Surveys
- Risk assessment reports will, in most cases, be confined to the common internal and external areas for residential developments.
- Completed risk assessments will be used by the property managers and directors of the management companies to initiate repairs, or any other procedures required, to ensure the residential common areas remain a safe environment.
