Sca Head of Pathways

The SCA is seeking an enthusiastic, decisive & committed individual to continue the success of developing Scottish athletes in the Olympic & Paralympic disciplines who are able to join GB teams and to progress onto the UK Sport funded performance programmes. This role will require strong strategic and operational leadership, cultural change and influencing skills.

The role will involve working with volunteers, clubs & other organisations supporting athletes progressing towards the SCA Performance programme, whose vision is “to be a world leading programme balancing performance & wellbeing, leading to increased success in paddling & life. Supportive of the wider paddling community and leaving all those who pass through the programme in a better place.”

The SCA’s strategic plan 2022-2025, Paddlesport For All, sets out our ambition to continue to make paddlesport accessible to everyone. Our progress to date is set out in the most recent version of the SCA Annual Report. We pride ourselves on being well run and innovative. We achieve this through effective teamwork between our volunteers, staff, board, providers and clubs and through the efficient use of technology and systems.

Annual salary for this post, on a full time basis, is circa £40,000. Flexible working will be required. We encourage applicants interested in taking on the role either full time or part time to apply.
