- We currently have the post(s) of Objects Conservator available.
- We are looking for an Objects Conservator with experience in the care and conservation of a wide range of collection types to join our conservation team.
- you will be responsible for the care and conservation of organic items and composite objects.
- you will make items in NML’s collections accessible by contributing to displays and exhibitions, interpretation, research, public and specialist enquiries, online information and other publications.
- you will support the care of collections work for furniture and similar collections on display and in storage
- you will assist with the management of the têxtiles and organics conservation studio including equipment maintenance, budgeting for and purchasing conservation materials, overseeing Health and Safety and carrying out relevant risk assessments
