Daybook Co-ordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Daybook Co-Ordinator to work in our offices in Birchwood.

As Day-book Co-Ordinator you will be supporting with the fulfilment of customer orders and collections through monitoring the day book and movement screens and liaising closely with the Transport Planners to create a delivery and collection plan that optimises hire fleet asset utilisation & maximises revenue and profit against agreed targets

Responsibilities include:

- Contribute to overall business targets and comply with company standards
- Monitor and control external rehire activity looking for opportunities to swap rehires for NWP own machines
- Provide a responsive service through all media to third parties ensuring that customers receive the highest standard of service at all times
- Interpret & identify best solution for customer requirements, ensuring real time capture of customer information
- Support the transport operation by providing real time information on machine movements
- Support revenue through efficient and effective fleet utilisation
- Proactively position fleet using system data & market intel from Sales & Hire Desk.
- Deal with all customers queries efficiently and cost effectively
- Manage rental assets within the region to ensure they are utilised in an effective manner
- Experience of inbound customer service preferred. Experience of sales through service models preferred
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but able to recognise and support the preferences and priorities of the organisation
- Ability to demonstrate logical thinking
- Ability to work with evolving information and build a plan to account for the changes required
