- Full time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 0830 - 5pm, permanent role_
- Based at ACE HQ, Rampton_

Aquatic Control Engineering (ACE) Ltd are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join the busy Operations and Manufacturing team.

Aquatic Control Engineering are a leader within their sector, supplying turnkey mechanical and electrical solutions for water management, flood defence and environmental services. The Company’s focus lies within water control products (valves, pumps, sluice gates) fish friendly land drainage pumps and fish migration solutions. This role is to support the busy manufacturing, warehouse assembly team working with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of warehouse duties.

**Job Role, duties and responsibilities**:

- Taking delivery of goods and correct sign off on delivery notes
- Quality Control of goods in; checking of goods incoming for missing or damaged items
- Unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift allocating parts to correct project and location
- Picking and packing goods for shipment
- Ensure goods in and out is correctly recorded on our computer system
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Use of hand and power tools within the workshop area to assist with stock building
- Physical demands such as loading and unloading goods from vehicles, stacking of goods into storage bays

**Essential Requirements & key skills**:

- Understanding of working to health and safety requirements
- Experience of working within a team
- Ability to multi-task
- Key attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence

It is desirable to have H&S qualifications such as Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Forklift, Slinging / Gantry Crane training requirements, First Aid.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£19,000.00 per year
