You will
Support the Health Inequalities Officer by researching and collating health data from trusted sources, analysing and evaluate the data to transform them into information that can be used to inform and shape the work of the health inequalities team.
Oversee the governance and reporting of the Health Inequalities Team engagement work and projects.
Also
To access and interpret data from trusted sources such as Fingertips, Shape, ONS etc to gather intelligence for the Health Inequalities Team to help shape and focus work streams.
Collaborate with partner organisations, staff, internal or external data sources to collect relevant health data and information to support the activities and initiatives of the health inequalities team.
To facilitate the mapping of new projects as well as have the flexibility for unscheduled projects.
Assist in developing reporting systems to ensure information captured can be analysed and outcomes are recorded.
Develop robust benefit maps to demonstrate the outputs, outcomes and added value of the work of the health inequalities team
The post holder will be expected to work alongside the Health Inequalities Officer to develop a project documentation library to record the outcomes of competed projects.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Expertise
Proven project management skills of health information / data analysis projects
Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use clear and effective written English to accurately convey complex information in an easy to digest format
Present complex data effectively through data visualisation techniques
