**Alexander Knight **are recruiting for a well-established leader in fuel distribution with a dedication to excellence and a commitment to safety, we provide reliable transport services to our clients across various sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team and lead the transport department across our depots in Essex and Suffolk.

As the Transport Supervisor, you will take the lead in managing all aspects of the transport department across our depots in Essex and Suffolk. You will be responsible for controlling and managing all matters relating to drivers and company compliance, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to regulations and policies.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Conducting driver training, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitoring tachograph data and addressing driver infringements in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations and road legislation.
- Managing Operators Licence requirements and ensuring compliance.
- Upholding health and safety standards and company policies within the transport department.
- Overseeing all depot and vehicle maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness.

**Requirements**:

- Strong leadership and communication skills for effective driver management and team coordination.
- Proven experience in transport management with a solid understanding of fleet operations.
- Valid CPC qualification, FORS knowledge,
- Desirable previous experience in the fuel distribution industry or transporting ADR goods.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing transport operations.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and excellence in service delivery.
