An opportunity has arisen for individuals to undertake the role of FCR supervisor, supporting our contract call handlers, and as such, aligned to the teams on the following fixed contract hours:
Position 1 - Monday to Friday 09:00 - 15:30 hours (30 hours per week) - no enhancements

Position 2 - Monday to Friday 15:30 - 22:00 hours (30 hours per week) - unsocial hours enhancements applicable after 20:00 hours

Position 3 - Saturday & Sunday 13:00 - 21:00 hours (15 hours per week) - weekend working and unsocial hours enhancements after 20:00 hours applicable

High level of proficiency using STORM, Athena, XC Mapping, ICCS and PNC

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of officers and staff, external agencies, and members of the public.

**It would also be beneficial if you could show**:
Experience call taking or dispatching in a Contact Management setting (within the last 3 years)

Experience of staff management including appraisals, welfare, sickness, capability, and discipline issues.

A sound knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks relevant to the role.

Experience “acting up” to the role of FCR Supervisor

This role requires the highest degree of resilience and adaptability due to the fast-paced nature of the Force Control Room. This Opportunity would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is passionate about supporting and developing a team and has experience of working in a public facing role.

This position is offered initially on a temporary basis with a view to become permanent pending completion of a 6-month PDP review and achieving management vetting.

**Successful applicants for this role will be defined as**: Static Worker - Works solely from one office within an office-based team. Some travel may be required to other police sites to discharge duty.
