**Job Overview**
- Responsible for the delivery of all service streams within the scope of the contract.
- Ensure that all personnel under your control work efficiently and maintain required standards.
- Responsible for staff motivation and discipline and control the allocation of labour to tasks.
- Meet and exceed all SLA's and KPI's as detailed within the contract across all service lines.
- Maximise financial performance to ensure budgets are achieved / exceeded.

**Main Duties**
- Control all service delivery in accordance with the established Business Management System including participation in internal and external audits.
- Meet contractual and budgetary requirements of the contract(s).
- Drive a ‘service excellence' culture among the operations and support teams.
- Establish and utilise existing KPI's, benchmarks and milestones to measure and demonstrate progress and achievement against plans.
- Manage forecast of outturns, WIP and Debt, and drive to meet and improve on financial targets.
- Ensure that all works are planned and costed within the contract restraints.
- Manage Operational targets for PPM, Open and Aged Jobs and Quotes.
- Drive the effective use of handheld technology for all planned and reactive works.
- Liaise with Suppliers and Sub-contractors, to achieve optimum efficiency.
- Ensure statutory compliance and certification is in place.
- Ensure Risk Assessments are completed and maintained.
- Asset Management and Verification.
- Seek out and deliver ‘added value' innovative solutions to existing customers and supply chain which enhance customers perception and differentiates us from our competitors.
- Production of monthly reports for Management Team and client(s) as required - including presenting them.
- Ensure the operational statutory compliance and completion of PPM works on all sites covered by the team.
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
- Manage the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans as applicable.
- Manage teams for the sites, including HR issues, appraisals, and succession planning.
- Carry out site audits for all sites.
- Work closely with the Supervisors/Service Desk on job planning/schedules/productivity efficiencies.
- Work closely with the clients and client teams reporting on progress and developments.
- Identify any areas for improvement in the delivery of services and implement changes as required.
- Ensure that Customer service is the focus of the way the FM services are provided.
- Ensure that all H&S guidelines and regulations are always followed.
- Monitor, record and investigate all accidents and near misses.
- Responsible for Staff Recruitment, Discipline and Grievance Procedures.
- Leads on all employee formal meetings, such as any employee relations topics, restructuring, TUPE or any other consultations.
- Utilises the internal HR systems, people support services and guidance to promote best practice and enable their people management accountabilities
- Accountable for ensuring all colleagues are paid on time and regularly monitors any issues raised by colleagues/payroll to intervene and create a sustainable resolution for their contract.
- Ensures that all colleagues are trained in accordance with clients and companies requirements meeting both hard and soft needs.
- Work closely with teams to ensure performance targets are met and all works are carried out effectively, efficiently and in a safe manner.
- Carry out Team Briefings regularly to ensure a combined approach in delivering services to clients.
- Acts as an ambassador for bringing to life the Mitie values daily ensuring they and their teams demonstrate the exceptional everyday.

***What we are looking for**
- Operational management experience gained within a large integrated FM environment.
- Experience of managing a P&L.
- Ability to demonstrate positive customer relationships, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to negotiate complex contracts.
- Customer focused and market aware.
- Flexible approach to duties with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Able to communicate well both written and verbally with colleagues and customers.
- Competent user of IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
