**Joiner**

We have a vacancy for a Maintenance/ Snagging Joiner to join our company to help us fulfill projects all over the Central Belt of Scotland.

Marshall Construction requires an experienced fully qualified joiner to carry out various tasks relating to all aspects of Joinery works. This will include inspections, diagnosing problems, repair, removal, maintenance and replacement of wooden or part wooden items which form part of buildings (such as windows and stairs) both internal and external.

**Day-to-day responsibilities**

**- **identify hazards, problems, defects and the need for replacement, adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with good working practices and health and safety
- Carry out planned tasks in accordance with the contract/agreed requirements
- carry out tasks within agreed time limits
- maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
- report to Line Manager
- immediately report problems/failures that may impact the organisation and/or its clients/customers to the Line manager
- Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
- contribute towards the smooth running of the team
- adhere to all organisationalpolicies and procedures

From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.

You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally.

You need
- to have achieved the qualifications and have completed an appropriate apprenticeship; minimum NVQ Level 2 carpentry and joinery
- to hold the following; CSCS card
- experience in this type of job role would be advantageous
- requisite knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
- understanding of the industry standards
- skills in the building, installation, repair and maintenance of all types of wooden items
- to be friendly and approachable
- Understand and deliver good customer service is essential
- good attention to detail
- to demonstrate good time management and project management skills
- a full driving licence

You need to have and maintain (with regular training and updates as necessary) the knowledge, technical skills and qualifications that are necessary to perform your job role to comply with the requirements of the Organisation and any applicable rules, regulations (particularly of any professional body).

A company van will be provided for travel to and from work.

Company workwear will also be provided.

**Salary**: £13.64 per hour
