As a **G4S **Warehouse Supervisor **in the Vaults team, you will be at the very heart of our operation. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the integrity of the audit trail, ensuring that all containers are properly balanced and accounted for and ensuring the smooth running of the vault. You will need to be confident working to stringent procedures designed to ensure that our service remains superior, and that our customer requirements are met with optimum efficiency.

**The Role**

You will join a team of specialist **Warehouse Operatives** and be responsible for allocating work daily and informing relevant departments about changes, supporting team members to develop their skills. It’s important that you maintain / use the VIPER Management system to the required standard ensuring all information is accurately updated. Consistently monitors vault performance and seeks continuous improvement to operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Our **Warehouse Supervisors** must manage staff to maintain the highest level of customer care, be aware of and work within authority limits, ensure that all relevant legislative and Company procedures and standards (Health and Safety, Security) are adhered to. You’ll also:

- Undertake training of Warehouse Operatives (Vault Officers) where necessary and identify any training requirements to line manager.
- Ensures all customer/machine keys are managed effectively. This includes a regular documented audit of all keys.
- Positively challenge current thinking to improve business performance.
- Undertake training courses, briefings and cascade information to staff as required.
- Treat people fairly with respect, impartiality and consistency - as you would be expected to be treated yourself.
- Ensure timely and accurate rostering of staff and time sheets allowing all resources to be managed effectively.
- Continually brief workforce on operational and company matters at least once a month.
- Any other duties, as directed by Line Manager, within level of ability.
- Ensure all funds held are secured and there is full identification of these at all times.

**Pay starts at £13.87 per hour, rising to £14.17 after 6 months, rising to £14.47 after 12 months (plus night allowance if applicable)**

**So what makes a successful Warehouse Supervisor (Senior Vault Officer)?**

To succeed as a **G4S Warehouse Supervisor**, you will need to be confident when communicating with customers and colleagues in both written and spoken English. An appropriate level of numeracy is also very important, and you will be adept following specific procedures and instructions and be able to work to tight deadlines. We ideally seek:

- Previous experience working in a Vault operation or warehouse style environment would be extremely beneficial but is not essential, as would experience a sound knowledge of Viper, viper for coin and branch security and using IT and computer systems.
