We are looking for a recently qualified accountant to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team as Finance Business Partner on a full term permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will support the day-to-day business performance management, financial budgeting and forecasting processes across the company.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will ensure that the Executive and wider Management team are provided with high quality, insightful financial information and forward looking projections that allow the business to manage performance and delivery on its short and long-term goals and objectives.
**Responsibilities and Main Accountabilities**
- Meet with the budget holders monthly to analyse variance to the budget and prepare a narrative for inclusion in the monthly management accounts and board papers
- Provide short and longer-term financial forecasts and supporting analysis to the wider management and Executive team
- Support the management team and wider business with data driven analysis and commercial business case preparation
- Challenge current thinking, making recommendations on how to optimise business opportunities and minimise risk/cost to the business
- Champion process improvement and automation, delivering efficiencies and creating capacity through the exploitation of the centralised MI and data toolsets
- Deputise for the Senior Finance Business Partner as required

**Essential Criteria**
- Newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
- Proven abilities in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, management reporting and business partnering
- Ability to interpret numbers and provide concise analysis and insight
- Ability to implement and monitor KPIs and metrics
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficient at prioritising and focusing on key activities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Able to build strong relationships at all levels across the business that result in being considered a trusted Business Partner

**Desirable Criteria**
- Working knowledge of BI tools (Tableau) and SQL skills
