Beef Finishing

**BEEF FINISHING / FARM STOCK CONTROL PERSON.**

Due to continued expansion and business improvement GH By products is looking to recruit a Beef finishing and stock control operative for its high quality, farm assured operation.

The farm is purpose built, modern and operates state of the art machinery and is located in Willingham by Stow. The farm has an increased reliance on technology and updated machines to improve productivity.

The ideal applicant will be passionate about farming and the outdoors and an unequivocal understanding that livestock welfare is at the heart of everything we do.

**Key requirements.**
- Must have a good level of physical fitness to positively deal with the demands of the farm role.
- Must have a strong interest, belief and alignment with the philosophy of the farm business and animal welfare.
- Must be a self-starter and have a strong ability to makes one’s own work programme and manage own time efficiently.
- Must be equally content working alone or as part of a team.
- Must be demonstrably highly organised and of a clean & tidy nature with a positive attitude towards H&S.
- Must be willing to work weekends as part of a rotation.
- Must understand that there will be increased requirements during busy periods such as harvest time.

**Additional information.**

The use of tractors and telehandlers is an advantage but not essential to the appointment.

A starting hourly rate of £13.50 is offered with the opportunity for negotiation based on experience.
