The role of the Senior Client Consultant is a senior-level role within Gallagher Bassett reporting directly to Client Services Director. The Senior Client Consultant is accountable for the daily high-quality management of client relationships and the timelyexecution of all client deliverables. The Senior Client Consultant will have a clear understanding of the clients business and sector identifying benefits that can be delivered through using Gallagher Bassett’s individual service lines.
This role is key to driving client retention, client and Gallagher Bassett growth and delivering excellent quality, this is enabled through the management of internal stakeholders, identifying improvements in process and delivering on new innovations andopportunities.

- Drive Client and Gallagher Bassett Innovation
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, grow, and maintain the relationship between the organisation and clients, with a focus on growth (e.g., increasing amount or type of coverage, and/or products and services, for existing accounts) and retention.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including some large and complex clients in specialised industries
- Identify, and advise on strategies for clients’ risk management, claims management and objectives
- Interface closely with Operations, Business Development, Core Functions and Brokers/Insurers to support client retention and new business production.
- To influence and implement best practice and innovation across the Client Services team and wider division
- Develop and communicate an understanding of client businesses by conducting and analysing client research, research on industry issues, preparing benchmarking studies and creating risk maps for internal and external use
- Maintain compliance and quality management of Client Services key documents and systems:
- Client Workbooks
- Salesforce
- Share of Wallet
- Service Delivery Documents
- Service Level Packages
- Using insightful analytics identify trends and promote changes in process to improve process incorporating knowledge of the market and industry providing innovative product solutions both for the client and Gallagher Bassett
- Manage client renewals proving an understanding of the clients requirements and presenting terms to the CSD that deliver a profitable and successful outcome for Gallagher Bassett and the client
- Attend and participate frequently in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company as a thought leader.
**Position Skills and Requirements**:
- Previous experience (3/5 years) in a similar role, preferably in Insurance or Claims Management background either client facing or claims operations
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong work ethic with dedication to high-quality work and exceptional attention to detail
- Sales acumen and innovative and disruptive thinking
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment
- Strong analytical mind with Advanced Excel skills
- Ideally Insurance qualifications required, to DIP CII level with willingness to progress further
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of Client Relationship Management
- High drive to deliver process improvement and change management, with the ability to demonstrate innovative thinking
