Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager for our client based near Rochester.
Working with the local authority, this is a Mechanical and Electrical contract and also includes building fabric, we require an experienced contracts manager that is familiar with plant room installs/ electrical installs and building fabric works.
There would be site surveys to undertake and regular meetings with our engineers and our clients.
Balancing office and site based work you will be responsible for the management and success of a number of projects, including customer relations, health and safety, quality, environmental and programming.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining effective and long-term relationships with clients;
- Ability to prioritise and meet pre-defined deadlines;
- Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems;
- Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc in order to maximise commercial profitability;
- High level of leadership and management skills;
- Technical experience and knowledge in drylining, ceilings and other fit-out trades;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills;
- High Level of Health and Safety awareness.
Qualifications:
- Min HNC qualified;
- Professional relevant qualifications;
- CITB Level 3 Safety Course;
- Appropriate CSCS Card (SSSTS / SMSTS);
- Experience in a similar role;
- Experience as a Project Manager or similar;
