Brick Mason

Responsibilities: - Lay and bind building materials, such as brick, concrete block, stone, and precast masonry units, with mortar and other substances to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures - Read blueprints or drawings to calculate materials needed - Cut or saw bricks to required size using hand tools or power tools - Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation - Align bricks or stones and finish joints using trowels, jointers, and other hand tools - Inspect work to ensure that it has been done in accordance with specifications and building codes Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Brick Mason - Proficient in masonry techniques including welding, carpentry, roofing, and the use of hand and power tools - Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. **Salary**: £193.75-£203.57 per day
