The Recruitment Group is hiring

We are on the lookout for a Website Manager, to join our highly successful client based in Wallingford.

As the Website Manager, you will take ownership of the website experience, manage the merchandising strategy, website optimisation and user experience. In addition, you will manage the operational performance, overseeing the implementation of a robust direct-to-consumerstrategy with our US Ecommerce team

Hours: Full time

**Salary**: £30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum

**About the role**:

- Drive significant growth to meet sales targets while maintaining/improving overall marketing performance and efficiency across websites for the EMEA region.
- Take full ownership of the Website P&L, advertising budget, operational efficiency, stock forecasting and resource planning.
- Execute direct-to-consumer strategy for EMEA and global Ecommerce strategy.
- Identify opportunities to drive traffic and increase conversion through competitor analysis.
- Implement frontend website improvements to gain market share and drive volume growth.
- Report on KPIs and demonstrate strategies to improve them — e.g., revenue, conversion rate, traffic, SEM activity.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to maximise inventory availability and sales.
- Coordinate functional backend service improvements, including fulfilment with operational teams.
- Present analysis of website performance/plans to internal stakeholders.
- Project manage and oversee performance of Ecommerce Coordinator to deliver Shopify development projects and general management using Agile working method.
- Directly manage website service providers and external agencies (SEO/SEM)

**About You**:

- Experience in a website management role.
- Significant, hands-on experience of Shopify platform and associated apps, such as Matrixify, script Editor, Shopify Flow and Langshop
- Demonstrable experience of/active involvement in website development project management.
- Highly analytical, with demonstrable experience utilising Google and Shopify Analytics.
- Understanding of frontend computer languages (HTML, CSS, JS), including Liquid preferred.
- Experience managing multilingual websites a plus.
- Advanced Excel user, expert at handling large amounts of data.
- Well organised, motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong planning/project management skills.
- A keen interest in digital/Ecommerce trends and a passion for improving user experience
