**Job Description** Role**: Social Media Executive

**Location**: London, we offer a mixture of office & hybrid working

**Employment Type**: Full Time, 9 Month FTC

We have an exciting oppurtunity in the form of a Social Media Exec to join us on a fixed term basis. A core role within our social media team, the Social Media executive will be helping to spread brand love to our customers through best-in-class content and community management that appears on a variety of channels. You will help manage Gousto’s organic presence across all major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok.

Reporting directly to the Social Media and Content Manager, sitting as a part of the wider Brand Comms team as well as our in house creative team. This is a unique opportunity to learn & grow within the social media & brand team within a growing business.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Drive brand love, fame and share of voice for Gousto by working closely with the Social Media Manager, Brand Marketing Manager, Snr PR Manager and the creative team to deliver best-in-class content produced in response to food campaigns
- Briefing and attending content photoshoots with our in-house photography team
- Working with the copywriters to develop captions that resonate with our audience
- Owning community management across all social media platforms
- Assisting the Social Media Manager in the day-to-day running of the social media and content streams currently in place, including all social platforms, newsletter and blog
- Keeping on top of trends and news stories as opportunities for our content and brand to stay culturally relevant
- Concepting content ideas and executions to elevate our social presence that are creative and relevant.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with our in house creative team to deliver highly engaging creative that fulfils our brand objectives
- Contributing to social media reporting and developing skills in data analysis contributing to strategic decisions
- Collaborating with the wider brand marketing team to deliver an integrated a creative comms experience for our customers
- Assisting with wider brand team reports and projects such as townhalls and team planning & socials

**Qualifications** Who you are**:

- Personal interest in social media and content, with a desire to learn how to develop this passion into a possible career
- Finger on the pulse with cultural events, trends and news stories and a creative mind that can form these into content concepts.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced environment
- A great people person with a passion for growing and developing relationships, this role requires working with a wide range of people and departments.
- Excellent communication skills including strong writing abilities
