My client who are a world wide recognised airline company are looking to take on a trainee hydraulic technician to join their landing gear team at their site in Hayes.
As a vital member of the team, you will assist with the test, repair, and overhaul of civil aircraft landing gear hydraulics to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, creating paperwork, inspecting, disassembling, assembling, and testing hydraulic units, as well as general hydraulics duties. It is essential that you have an awareness and understanding of safety and environmentalregulations, as well as the ability to read CMM's and use measuring equipment to determine torque values.
Previous knowledge and experience working within an engineering facility, along with a good understanding of PPE, is required for this role. While previous experience with hydraulics or mechanics is desirable, it is not essential. A background in the aviationindustry is also a plus, but not required.
This is a day shift position with a salary starting at £23,500.
