**Job Purpose**:

- Support the Line Leader with the development of the team and delivering the company strategic plan; utilise lean manufacturing tools and techniques to improve all areas of the operation.
- To ensure all Health & Safety procedures are complied with at all times.
- To ensure all Quality and Production reporting is done effectively and efficiently.
- To support the business goals in achieving and sustaining ISO22716/9001, COSMOS, Soil Association and BRCSG Accreditations

**Reporting Relationships**:

- Reports to Line Leader
- Close liaison with Engineering to ensure speedy resolution of any production line issues through Escalation procedure.
- Liaise with Warehouse around componentry.
- Liaise with Manufacturing relating to bulk liquid.

**Job context & scope**:

- Reports to Line Leader
- Close liaison with Engineering and wider business to ensure decisions that are made are correct and implementation support the Business Goals and Objectives.
- Role and responsibilities may vary from running a machine to End of line packing and everything in between, including online quality checking components and product in line with specifications.

**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**

What this role is responsible / accountable for delivering
- Self-management with the ability to understand instruction is crucial to success.
- Works closely with other team members, Supply, Manufacturing, Warehouse. Use the support structure of quality when required.
- Being part of an engaged team supporting/ involvement during changeovers and cleanouts to, planning and preparation of tasks to ensure efficiency, therefore reducing downtime.
- Ensure communication is consistent throughout the team identification of potential issues are highlighted and escalated when required to line leaders or engineers.
- Motivation, development, and self-empowerment are key to demonstrating behaviours consistent with the company’s core competencies and CANDO attitude, (see training matrix).
- To ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other standards as directed by the line leader, supervisor, management, or the business.
- To comply with training and development plans in place for self. Training to be prioritised and on track in conjunction with your line leader, supervisor.
- To attend performance reviews when planned and completion of supporting documentation - both informal and formal
- Maintain and adhere to both Hygiene and GMP standards following clean as you go practices.
- Adherence to all legal requirements, Business H&S Policy & procedures i.e. weekly safety checks, mandatory training and Risk Assessments.
- Support the development of continual improvement to include, Production Plan Achievement, OEE, RFT, Quality defect rate, waste reduction, change over times including cleanouts.
