In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

We are now recruiting for multiple Technical Support Specialists to join our team, working on fixed term contracts in Cwmbran. We have two 12-month and three 6-month opportunities Providing support through both ServiceNow and ‘at-elbow', and working with other members of the SGB IT Team and 3rd party suppliers, as well as stakeholders in the local business, these roles assist in supporting, implementing and maintaining all IT/IS/PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties include;
Assist in the deployment of solutions or implementation of managed changes to support ServiceNow requests or work as part of a local team making changes to support project implementations
Work to a defined test plan to ensure compliance with standards defined by Safran
Responsible for ServiceNow incidents, identifies problems and partakes in escalation to
other Safran support teams, in line with agreed SLAs.
Responsible for ServiceNow requests, ensuring mínimal disruption to the SGB business
For both incidents and requests, maintains all relevant documentation as required
Contributes to ensuring the service delivery is effective and efficient
Participates in local aspects of system operations
Understands risk management and identifies problems, changes and project tasks,
escalating as required.

This role attracts an on call allowance and call out payments when rostered to be on-call.

**Job requirements**:
Ability to manage and prioritise stakeholder expectations at all levels ranging
from end user up to C-level
An ability to communicate complex technical issues to business users
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure
A collaborative approach to delivery working with various technical and business departments
Good working knowledge of networks, server and client products
