Bennett and Game are currently working with an international Freight Forwarder actively seeking an Ocean Export Operator to join their Heathrow and Surrounding location.

**Ocean ExportOperator Position Overview**
- Carrier negotiations and procurement.
- Work and monitor ocean consolidation programmes from UK LCL and FCL
- Transport negotiation and solution techniques to fit for the business requirements set by the network and customers and sort-out location wise transport solution.
- Warehouse related ops, i.e. checks and sort-out customer requirements or any ops related issues,
- Management of two /three warehouses to base on the pricing and their handling expertise
- DG check for all DG shipments prior proceed with booking - this is to avoid last minutes issues and then communicate with shipper/ vendors to erase the flaws identified.
- Manage carrier related ops issue.i.e. roll-over / / shut -out spot and advance bookings formalities, EDI and etc.
- Tariff building and distribution to the FSL network and regular customers - is the key for our consolidation business
- Quotes to network / agents and self
- routed customers - ensuring that quotes goes out same day and negotiate with vendors / customer to secure the business
- Meet and supervise European export docs and compliance process - this is a key area after Brexit for any export to EU from UK.

**Ocean ExportOperator Position Requirements**
- Experience within Ocean freight export related escalation
- Knowledge of DAP or DDP shipment
- Good communication
- To work as front FACE for shipper/ vendors and carriers
- Analyse carrier, warehouse and transport billing variance and challenge them to issue CRN and approve them accordingly.
- Check DG / temp control shipments to see all clauses are mentioned as required to avoid any issues
- Experience in people management
- Well versed of customs entries and compliance issue
- Experience in effective cost management
- Experience in B2C and B2B communication

**Ocean ExportPosition Remuneration**
- Salary:£30,000 - £35,000k
