Filling Operator

Livingston, United Kingdom Hyaltech Ltd. Full time

Key Duties:

- Set up, changeover and run aseptic filling machines in a Grade B cleanroom environment
- Support in the identification and repair routine machine faults as required
- Carry out machine maintenance and escalate any issues with regards to quality or machine operation, as required
- Sterilisation of machine parts by autoclaving
- Monitor critical process parameters and act on deviations within the manufacturing area to ensure efficient production
- Perform in process checks and visual inspection, recording data throughout manufacturing process to ensure the product is within specification.
- Completion of all batch paperwork relevant to manufacturing process following GDP principles
- Demonstrate a positive attitude to all required tasks
- Adhere to Company Safety, Hygiene, Environmental & Quality policies and procedures at all times
- Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

**Skills and Experience**:

- An understanding of aseptic processing techniques and cleanroom experience within a medical device or closely related environment
- The ability to think logically and solve problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills with the ability to work to own initiative
- IT skills including Excel and Word.

**Desirable**:

- Experience of working within a cGMP environment
- HND/degree in a technical discipline
