RES is a family with a diverse workforce, and we are dedicated to the personal professional growth of our people, no matter what stage of their career they're at. We can promise you rewarding work which makes a real impact, the chance to learn from inspiring colleagues from across a growing, global network and opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

**Role Profile**

A member of the EMEA Executive and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer EMEA, you will be responsible for supporting our construction teams across EMEA so that our construction activities are delivered safely, on time and within budget. The EMEA region covers all RES’ Development and Construction activities in Europe, Türkiye and Australia and is active in seven countries. We deliver renewable energy projects and associated infrastructure covering onshore and offshore wind, solar, battery storage, green hydrogen, and grid.

Our construction proposition ranges from owners engineer to full EPC and involves design and contract negotiation with customers, suppliers, and contractors. Projects are mainly but not exclusively sourced from our large pipeline of development projects; when we sell a ‘ready-to-build’ project we also aim to secure construction contracts. Some key elements of the role are:

- Be a strong influencer, confident in using rationale and motivation to drive change and improvement
- Ensure focus on customer satisfaction and key account management
- Implement standard processes and operating procedures across the EMEA organization - one consistent, repeatable approach. Maintain discipline in following implemented systems, turning it into the “RES project delivery model”
- Work with the Chief Engineer to establish design processes ensuring clarity around design responsibilities between RES and its customers and consultants
- Build a strong pipeline through collaboration with our Development and Support Services (Asset Management & O&M) teams
- Monitor, evaluate and improve business performance to produce long term, sustainable value in line with the strategy
- Support the successful deployment of a new ERP system
- Promote transparency and visibility of project and value stream performance, ensuring effective internal communication of the performance, strategy and activities of the construction business
- Be a proactive leader in helping shape the company culture and drive Diversity and Inclusion
- Have a good understanding of the power sector and a genuine interest in renewable energy
- Innovate to reduce cost and increase performance; this role will help encourage innovation as well as share good practice and lessons learnt across EMEA

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Creating tangible collaboration between construction professionals across EMEA
- Driving excellence in Project Management and Contract Management
- Consistent and standardised reporting on budget vs actuals, risks, opportunities
- Define consistent standards and processes for the pricing of risk, contingency and margin in the construction cost assumptions for our development projects
- Setting up Project Management Office (PMO) functions
- With the Group Chief Engineer plus Country Heads and Business Unit leads, ensure good resource planning, allocation, development, and potential
- With the Group Head of Procurement, help drive benefits from scale and accurate forecasting
- With the Group Legal team continue to evolve our contract templates and improve their effectiveness in different markets
- Help our Support Services business with the negotiation and risk allocation of any construction management or Owners Engineer contracts secured for that business unit
- Promote good governance across EMEA construction
