**Dementia Lead (Residential Care)**

The dedicated team provides exceptional care to residents who require respite, nursing, residential and specialist dementia care.

**The role of a Dementia Lead (Residential Care) involves**:

- Ensuring that the standards set by the Home Manager are upheld
- Being responsible for the provision of dementia care and administration of medication
- Reporting and recording any complaints, accidents, in line with the company policy
- Providing a planned programme of care that is recorded and reviewed regularly
- Assessing and evaluating each resident’s physical and psychological needs on a monthly basis or as when needed
- Overseeing the care plans of all residents with Dementia, ensuring they are up to date, valid and person centred
- Introducing and maintaining standards of care to meet the total needs of each residents, in line with internal and CQC regulations
- Delivering the dementia pathway training and support the team to upskill and grown their knowledge

**To be considered for the role of Dementia Lead (Residential Care) you will have**:

- Level 3 Health and Social Care and above
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Dementia care
