We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Coordinator to join the UKs leading manufacturer of construction products. As HSE coordinator you will be responsible for the implementation and managing of nationally agreed systems within the Plantensuring legal compliance across the site. You will also operate a philosophy of continual improvement at the Plant across Health & Safety and Environmental.
Role Description
- Collection of weekly and monthly KPI information for month end reporting
- Maintaining complete and accurate Health & Safety and Environmental records to the company standard
- Ensuring information for the processing of complaints reporting system is achieved in a timely and accurate fashion
- Coordinate all plant and cross audits, risk assessments, essential meetings which are relevant to the position and responsibility
- Undertake to investigate and report serious incidents to the relevant functional heads
- Liaise with local authorities for investigation and inspections
- Ensure a policy of continual improvement is applied to all three disciplines by engaging employees at all levels
Skills and Qualifications
- Experienced and confident working in a manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH level 2 minimum
- Experience of BS EN ISO 14001 and 9001
- Computer literate
