The role will be part of the leadership to a staff team responsible for maintaining the day-to-day patient flow across the two acute psychiatric wards as well as the PICU ward based at Antelope House, Southampton.

As part of the role there will also be an expectation to provide clinical assessment and judgement to those service users in hospital to aid the process of discharge at Antelope House as well as out of area hospital beds working closely with the Crisis Team in terms of home treatment.

We are looking for a practitioner either from a background in mental health nursing, social work or occupational therapy with significant clinical experience. You will need to be an enthusiastic, resilient, motivated professional with excellent clinical, organizational & communication skills.

In addition, you will help to support effective leadership and management to staff to promote high performance standards both individually and as a team, to ultimately achieve the objectives and priorities of effective patient flow.
