St Mary’s Nursery Hexham is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner who

Loves working with children; is friendly, warm and caring; and makes learning fun.

St Mary’s Nursery Hexham LTD was established in October 2000 and is a Not for profit Child

Care provider delivering: - Early Years Foundation Stage / Pre-school School sessions and Out of

School Clubs from 7.30am -6pm Monday - Friday (minimum 16 hours per week) this post is for 3

Days per week to cover maternity leave and sick / holiday cover. Start ASAP

Qualified, experienced staff team led by a QTS as well as meeting the requirements to fulfill

this post.
- Hold a full relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years & Childcare or equivalent
- Hold a current Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Certificate will be adventure.
- Have a sound knowledge of the EYFS
- Have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to use initiative
- Have excellent team skills
- Have some leadership room skills (ideally)
- Have a Passion for Early Years
- Be prepared to get messy / wet and all other things associated with working in the EYFS outdoors

We will require two Good references and full employment history
