**About us**

Red Deer Village is a small but busy family owned company located in Stepps, Glasgow. Our key focus is providing exclusive homes for the 50+ community in our residential park. Our holiday park has a Scottish Tourism 5 Star rating and has gained numerous industry awards for its conservation work, such as Gold in the David Bellamy Conservation Scheme.

We are seeking a suitably qualified minibus driver with a friendly and helpful attitude, to drive residents for their weekly shopping and on monthly trips. This role would be perfect for someone looking for flexible hours and a great work life balance.

Hours: - 15 hours per week over Thursday/Friday

Salary £11.50 per hour, depending on experience

**Main responsibilities**

Operating the courtesy minibus, taking residents for their shopping and other destinations and returning to the park, offering assistance where required.

Ensuring that the minibus is kept clean and in good condition, including weekly cleaning inside and out, ensuring appropriate signage is displayed in the minibus and in good condition and ensuring that any additional work required is communicated immediately to a manager or director.

Adhere to all company policies including health and safety guidelines for minibus drivers, including completing the pre-driving checks documentation and returning to the main office on completion.

Adhere to all guidelines and rules relating to the “onboard” systems.

When not driving the minibus you may be asked to collect supplies from our suppliers (suitable vehicle will be provided for that purpose).

Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents whilst they are using the minibus.

Potential general duties around the park outwith job description from time to time.

**Key Skill Requirements**

Friendly, approachable, adaptable and professional

Physically fit

Full clean driving license for classes of vehicle: 9. B, BE, C1, C1E, D1, D1E, F, K, I, N, P.

Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) License (also called a minibus provisional entitlement).

Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Operator License.

Certificate of Driver Competence (CPC) / Driver’s Qualification Card.

Recent best practice training, such as MiDAS, would be preferable.
- Basic criminal disclosure check and medical check required before confirmation of employment_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
