Groundwork Operative

MAC Groundwork Contractors are currently looking to recruit an experienced Groundwork Operative.

**Roles and Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the overall job performance. Work with the commercial team on cost advice, unexpected works, understand the tender and agreed standards
- Provide recourses to enable customer care issues to be resolved effectively.
- Working to a programme of works and ensuring productivity on site.
- Monitor safety, liaising with directors, the Health and Safety team and site staff as required.
- Manage effective communication between site and office.
- Completing necessary audits, paperwork, and documentation.
- Liaising with customers and other contractors.
- Manage sub-contractors on site, checking works carried out.
- Knowledge and experience of CDM regulations.
- To read, understand and familiarise yourself with the company’s policies and procedures and always ensure compliancy including Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Interpreting construction drawings and specifications

**Qualifications**
- Site Management (SSSTS)
- CSCS / CPCS Qualification (minimum 1 year)
- First Aid at Work
- Temporary Works Coordinator / Supervisor
- NRSWA Supervisor (desirable not but essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £160.00-£180.00 per day
