We have a role available that is likely to be what you are looking for

We are working with an “Outstanding” community Primary school in the heart of Birmingham. The school has an ethos that together with parents, teachers and educators have a shared responsibility and a common goal centred on the well-being and developmentof every child. The school are hoping to find a dedicated and talented KS2 class teacher with a welcoming and inclusive teaching style.

The school are looking for someone until Summer 23.

Start date: Immediate

Working hours: Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am - 3.30pm) Term time only

The Role
- Planning and delivering creative lessons in alignment with the KS2 curriculum
- Building positive relationships with students to facilitate classroom engagement
- Create a positive classroom environment in which all students feel confident and safe to take risks in their learning
- Ensuring students with additional needs experience an inclusive classroom environment
- Working alongside senior leadership to continually drive school standards
- Maintaining a good level of communicate between the home and the school through regular contact with parents
- Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils
- Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Hold UK QTS to be considered for this role (Applications from Early Career Teachers welcomed)
- Have previous teaching experience
- Have experience working with KS2 pupils
- Have effective verbal and written communication
- Experienced use of support staff relevant to the class
- Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
- Experience and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
