Digital Productions Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new full-time position of Digital Production Officer. Working closely with the Communication and Public Engagement Officer, you will help develop the Institute’s online profile, engaging with a variety of audiences to showcase and disseminate the work of the Institute.

Duties will include working to deadlines to create, deliver and evaluate digital content (videos, podcasts, social media campaigns). This will include managing small-scale projects from inception to delivery. You will support researchers and staff at the MRC WIMM to develop digital content and provide resource for in-house video and audio production, liaising with external contractors where necessary.

You will hold a recognised qualification or have substantial experience in videography and post-production. Proven experience and knowledge of audio and video editing software together with a willingness to learn specific software e.g. Adobe Creative Suite will be essential. You will also have highly accurate and concise writing skills for script writing and social media, including the ability to communicate and influence audiences from diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

This position is available fixed-term for 2 years.
