Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are currently recruiting for an established but growing manufacturing business in Yeadon for a Purchasing Assistant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies
- Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Supply chain experience and understanding is key

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a similar procurement role
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Analysis and systems
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers
