**Overview**:

- Work with the sales team and clients to provide solutions for customer driven design briefs
- Design customised products for specific client requirements
- Produce assembly diagrams and instructions
- Create standard and non-standard assemblies for quotations, space planning blocks and installation diagrams
- Produce detailed space plans and Extract product data
- Provide lists of components and quote
- Produce production drawings for 3rd party manufacturers
- Customer site visits and surveys
- Present designs, samples, and final work to stakeholders for evaluation.
- Understand manufacturing principles and techniques for a broad range of materials including folded steel and MFC fabrication.
- Leverage existing tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes to support new product concepts.
**CAD Management**:

- Maintain and develop furniture space planning design and quotation system using Autodesk’s Factory Design Suite and i-Logic
- Produce 3D visuals from assembly drawings
- Maintain CAD block libraries for marketing initiatives
- Liaise with external BIM specialists
- Generate detailed drawings of model assemblies.
**Essential**:

- Proven experience working with complex assemblies using Inventor and iLogic
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- MS Excel
- Revit / BIM knowledge
- Minimum 3-5 years in a Design role
- Exceptional project management skills to run all aspects of the design process.
- Degree level in design,
The position will see you designing furniture solutions in mainly the corporate / commercial market place, if you have the desired design skills and can think outside of the box to come up with workable solutions then this could be the role for. A Portfolioof designs may be required for the interview process.
