The post holder will also work with a range of partners from health, local authority and third sector services to address areas of inequality.

The post holder is required:

- To provide information, advice and sign posting on health related issues for the general public and health professionals, whilst raising the profile of health improvement and health inequalities at community level in Moray.
- To deliver a programme of health coaching for Grampian residents on health related issues including smoking cessation, healthy weight and physical activity.
- Work with health and other professionals and members of the public to promote and provide healthpoint services which support the delivery of National and Local priorities.
- To complete administrative tasks to ensure service monitoring can be completed in line with Scottish Executive, NHS Grampian and Health and Social Care Partnership requirements.
- To support the delivery of the Health Improvement and Health and Social Care Partnership plans.
- In partnership with other services/agencies, encourage and support individuals, groups and local communities to prioritise and address their own health and health-related needs and address areas of health inequality.

This is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave.
