An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly paediatric ward team.

We are currently seeking to recruit Healthcare Assistants on Howard Children's Unit at St Richards Hospital and are offering both full and part-time hours.

We have 20 beds within our general Paediatric Ward taking patients from 0-18 years. The ward cares for patients with a range of medical, surgical, orthopaedic and oncology conditions and includes an High dependency area and CAU (Children's assessment Unit)

Previous experience in working with Children is desirable.Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative and a child friendly approach are essential.

We will teach you everything you need to know by providing a structured programme in the first few months of starting with us at UHSx. From the time you join us, you will have access to learning, development and training opportunities. As you progress in your NHS career you will acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to provide safe and compassionate patient care.
