My client is a leading property developer with an ambitious development pipeline, who are seeking a Tax Advisor to join their motivated tax team on a permanent business. This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading organisation, working closelywith the large development team and other parts of the organisation to support the tax management with a strong focus on real estate acquisitions and development.

**The main responsibilities of the Tax Advisor include**:
Be the key point of contact on all tax related issues within the organisation, with a particular focus on Corporation Tax, VAT, and Stamp Duty.

Partner with the Development team to identify and highlight any tax implicants and risks at the point of target / acquisition stage.

Monitor a large number of transactions and projects, right from land acquisition for final house build stage, providing robust project management and engaging various advisors and additional stakeholders where required to ensure necessary steps are takento mitigate tax risks.

Support the Head of Tax in managing tax risks across the entire organisation, updating the tax strategy, maintain the risk register and general management of group wide tax risks.

Deliver training to both the development team and the wider organisation to build knowledge and capacity on relevant tax issues, providing clear and concise information.

Provide advise on areas such as Joint Ventures, issuing of bonds, mergers and acquisitions etc to evaluate tax risks and impacts to the organisation.

Be fully qualified in either CTA/ACA/ACCA.

A strong track record of project management within providing specialist tax advise on Real Estate matters.

Experience in explaining complex taxation issues to senior staff on operational and strategic matters.

An ability to confidently deliver effective tax training to a range of stakeholders.
