As an Optical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the optometrists and opticians in providing high-quality eye care services to our patients. Your knowledge of ocular anatomy and physiology will be essential in assisting with various eye examinations and tests. Additionally, your familiarity with laboratory procedures will enable you to assist with the fabrication of eyewear.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to interact directly with patients. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to effectively educate patients on proper eyewear care and answer any questions they may have. Attention to detail is important as you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining inventory of optical supplies.
To excel as an Optical Assistant, you should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer skills is necessary for accurately managing patient records.

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
